Book yourself a Winter or Spring break, the views are fabulous. There are many walks from the door and you can bring your well behaved dog.  There have been a lot of changes, a new shower room, new tiles in the en-suite bathroom and kitchen, new chest of drawers and a fab new comfy bed.  Come and experience the colours and sights of our English countryside and then put yr feet up infront of the new log burner and have a well deserved rest!   I've replaced the front door this year too, we look very smart and Bramwell Cottage is waiting to be booked by you:

Thank you to all of you who have left money on the dogs head for our local village charity, we are currently putting funds into  Birthing Attendants and replacement of water wells in Sierra Leone.  We raised £18 from the dogs :) Brilliant!!

Welcome to Bramwell Holiday Cottage in Youlgrave in the Peak District, Derbyshire. This is our fifth season as a holiday cottage and many are people are returning because of the lovely cottage and the area to explore.

The cottage is situated in the heart of Youlgrave, one of the prettiest villages in the Peak District National Park.  It is an idyllic two bedroom traditional stone cottage that is elevated on the hillside with stunningly beautiful views.   It's pretty, cosy, comfortable and perfect for curling up for romantic breaks or to use as a great  base for walking holidays where it sleeps 3 and could sleep 4 if it was 2 small children. Most guests say it feels like a home rather than a holiday cottage, come and experience the peace for yourself!

The accommodation comprises of an open plan sitting room with fabulous new log burner,  LCD TV, DVD Player and lots of games and jigsaws.  The kitchen is very well equipped with cooker, microwave, washing machine, blender and most of the utensils that you need and some you didnt know you did need :)  there is also a new  central heating boiler which keeps the cottage really warm.   Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, the master bedroom has an on-suite bathroom and there is a separate shower room with WC. There is a new double bed which has a memory foam topper and very comfortable and the single bed also has memory foam topper, so cosy you dont want to get out.  Unless the sun is shining and then the great outdoors starts calling!

The cottage has wireless internet connection,  Ipod player in the bedroom,  and enough logs to get the log burner going.   Bedding and t-towels are included, please bring bath towels with you.  Heating and utilities are all included in the price.

The terrace faces south with stunning views over the hillside and your table and chairs provide a place to relax and read or enjoy breakfast in the sunshine, there are cushions and a parasol in the storage place off the kitchen.

Cars are parked either on the road outside or in the small car park 2 minutes up the road.  Bramwell Cottage is within easy walking distance of  butchers/grocery store,  post office and the three village pubs all of which serve home cooked food.
