Cycle Trails - Youlgrave area and the Derwent Dams . Derbyshire is a county with magnificent, natural beauty which provides a beautiful setting in which to enjoy a cycling break. There are footpaths, disused railway lines and sweeping country roads locked away from the heavy traffic and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Whether it’s a family daytrip, a bicycle ride for two or mountain biking, then Derbyshire certainly is the place in which to do it. Cycle Hire in the Peak District

Well Dressings - The Well Dressing season runs from early May to the middle of September each year. It's the art of decorating springs and wells with pictures made from local plant life. The dressings are set in clay-filled wooden trays, mounted on a wooden frame. They take hours to complete, and villagers often work through the night to finish in the early hours of the first festival morning. Some villagers dress their wells in secret. Others invite you to come along and watch - the best way to find out how it's done.
Castleton and the caves - Castleton lies in the Hope Valley between the Dark and the White Peak areas of the Peak District.
Eyam and Eyam Hall. - Eyam (pronounced 'eem') is well known because of its association with the bubonic plague. Eyam Hall is built of local gritstone and was built between 1671 and 1676. The Hall is an active place; Victorian Christmas tours, weddings, school tours plus other indoor and outdoor events are held throughout the year.
